"What would Earth be doing if we weren’t doing what we are doing to it?” This question has sparked a new direction in my artwork. Departing from abstract expressionist painting, I can focus on using natural fibers and other earthly elements to create art that fosters empathy and appreciation for nature and conservation efforts. By incorporating these natural elements into my compositions, I aim to reveal the beauty and complexity of the natural world. My ultimate goal is to create artwork that encourages viewers to engage intimately, provoking action and a deeper connection with the environment.
